Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment sculpture
The WEEE Man is a giant recycled waste sculpture, unveiled on April 29, 2005 in London, England. The WEEE Man represents how much WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) an average UK person will create in their lifetime. A European WEEE directive, encouraging manufacturers to take responsibility for their products at the end of their life, came into effect in 2006.
